a weekly newsletter that explores & celebrates your innate creativity.

“…but I’m not creative.”

Well. I disagree. 🙃

Why this curated newsletter might be for you:

  • You’re someone who often finds themselves navigating the thresholds of imposter syndrome.

  • You’re someone who feels discouraged to embark on a creative project for fear of failing.

  • You’re someone who might be burnt out from their job and are looking for the next opportunity to explore a creative endeavor.

  • You’re someone who likes supporting creatives and being inspired to work on your own craft, whatever that may be.

who am I?

👋 hi, I’m Coy (she/her/siya) and I’m your main curator (for now — I hope to expand this to be a community of collaborators ✨manifesting✨ as I am but one speck in an abundant sea of creatives).

I'm a first generation Filipina-American on a mission to build more inclusive and equitable media spaces, both digitally and IRL. I spend my days as an agency copywriter, creating social media content for within the entertainment space, and consulting for brands rooted in purpose. I also identify as a multidisciplinary storyteller, mental health advocate, and boba enthusiast. Also, in the process of trying to decolonize my mind. It’s going!

why write this?

With my experience in media and advertising spanning a decade, I've seen first hand how the industry has not created safe spaces for people of color to create autonomously or be themselves freely. I want to help change that by amplifying content that show the breadth of creativity, innovation, and fearlessness of historically underrepresented individuals within the entertainment industry and beyond.

You can read a little bit more in detail why I wanted to start this project here.

Sounds good? You know what to do…
